This week, my literacy class is reading this book. It Used to be Green Once. It’s about a really interesting childhood and a car that has no brakes.

In today’s maths, I am learning about multiples and factors. Multiples are like skip counting, while factors are kinda like the opposite. (e.g. Factors of 20: 1,4,5,20).

Today I learned about math terms and what they mean. I learned something new like sqaure roots and factorial functions. We also learned about exponents in BEDMAS.

This term, the year 7 to 8 extension class are exploring the history of protests in NZ! These slides on this post are a brief timeline of the protests that happened in Aotearoa New Zealand. From the NZ Wars in the 1810’s to the Anti Mandate Protest in 2022.
